New stuff on website

We haven't changed the website for a while, so look for additions and updates that should be up by the first week of April, 2004.

the site has also been cleaned up a bit, so you might notice that it's a little peppier than it used to be..

Coming soon: a small gallery of the Orquesta's recent trip to Alaska, of all places, in the middle of Winter.

I'll see if I can post a report on how that went some time, or if maybe one of the guys feels like telling us about it, that would be cool.

Alaska was really great. They treated us very well and we were very well received by the audience - lots of standing ovations, etc. It was also fun doing the show for all the kids. The theatre was a very large and beutiful one - great sound! It was a little sad though, as it was Roberto's last performance with the group... Anyways, I hope they invite us back.

Well, while I was at it, I added some new features to the website, drop menus on the english part (coming soon on the spanish part), a slideshow feature for the previous performance pages large image popup viewers, updated general stuff, and improved the useability quite a bit all around.

Hopefully you all will find it more pleasant to use, and easier to get where you are going. We'll be adding more features over the next few months, time and energy permitting.

Have to say I wish I could have gone to Alaska, that would have been great, also since it was Roberto's last gig for while, missed that, oh well...

ok, I'll keep you updated, but that should be it for the major changes for a while, though I'll keep working to make the site even more user friendly.

Spanish updates should be up some time in April, by the way.

The recent wave of changes are pretty much done now, I've added some pages here and there, and generally updated everything. The site pages load a lot faster than they did before the update, and we are all set to be able to put up more galllery pages fairly easily.

There will be a few more changes here and there, but that's about it for the english section of the site, as soon as I get the spanish translations I'll change the Spanish part of the site, that should be in a week or two.

Hope you enjoy it, feel free to ask questions on the forum if you want, one of the band members will probably answer when time permits.

I just added some more images of the Orquesta in the Alaska Photo gallery, you can see the gallery here , there's some nice shots of the band in sound check, plus of course of snowy Anchorage itself, which wasn't actually that cold, at least not for Anchorage and February.
